Lyrics Card Generator v5.7.3 Release Notes
Release date: 2026-07-17
v5.7.3 rebuilds the step-two lyrics workspace around continuous reading and editing, while gathering lyric utilities into an adjustable, collapsible tool rail on the right. The top Stepper, later settings steps, and existing export boundaries remain unchanged.
Editor-first two-column workspace
- Step two now contains a left editor and a right tool rail. The editor starts at 3/4 of the usable width; tools can expand to 1/3, while the editor always retains at least 2/3.
- The divider follows the steps 3–5 contract: a 20 px hit area, one full-height 1 px line, accent-color state feedback, pointer dragging, arrow keys, Shift acceleration, Home/End, and double-click reset.
- The tool rail collapses to approximately 64 px and preserves both its collapsed state and last expanded width across step changes.
More continuous lyric editing
- One-language editing uses the full left area while keeping the manuscript at a comfortable centered width. Bilingual editing divides the entire editor area evenly, keeps both columns equal in height, and uses one shared main scroll.
- The previous document title, shared-scroll hint, language headings, and line counts are consolidated into one compact sticky status bar, reducing repeated layers and freeing vertical space.
- Window resizing, translation toggles, and split changes retain the cursor, selection, logical-line anchor, and scroll position. Long lines wrap inside the editor without horizontal overflow.
Concentrated tools and stable safety boundaries
- The collapsed rail retains its expand control, AI translation, translation switch, bilingual splitting, and current line-count/36 status.
- Expanded tools are ordered as quick actions, translation controls, then lyrics retrieval or the AI panel. When no dynamic panel is active, the rail shows the song summary, original/translation statistics, and section counts.
- The 36 non-empty-line export limit, no-preview step two, off-screen export host, existing steps 3–5 ratios, and Web Lite feature boundary all remain unchanged.
